The answer to this is, NO! Not even close to horror movie! seriously la, not kidding you......
The poster seriously misrepresent whatever the movie is about....The first impression the poster gave to me it was something, "this must be some shit horror scary ass movie, maybe something as bad as Thai horror film?! =S" haha
But after watching it, I only I got to know it was not a horror movie.....

Inside scope of it?! NOTHING! hahah...i was expecting much more, an hour after the movie, I was like, "what the heck is going on?! where is the action and fighting and all?! mana dia?!!!" quite disappointed in a way....
What I think about the movie? Taylor Lautner is overrated thanks to Twilight... they could have gotten somewhere better and of course they could do much more action, ie fighting and all...i guess maybe Taylor Lautner couldn't it off? maybe yes, maybe no? haha
The movie was just alright, 5 of out 10 maybe?

Initially, when I first watch the trailer, I was like, "what the heck is this movie? must be some cheap stupid production!".... But gosh, I was damn wrong when I watch it...
The story line was good...basically about 2 brothers who needed the money for their own personal reason decided to join in this martial art competition but the twist in it was, they are not in good terms.....ooops i better stop here...haha cause the synopsis gonna be down there! =P
Synopsis:
Two brothers face the fight of a lifetime - and the wreckage of their broken family - within the brutal, high-stakes world of mixed martial arts. An ex-Marine haunted by a tragic past, Tommy Riordan returns to his hometown of Pittsburgh and enlists his father, a recovering alcoholic and his former coach, to train him for an MMA tournament awarding the biggest purse in the history of the sport. As Tommy blazes a violent path towards the title prize, his brother, Brendan, a former UFC fighter unable to make ends meet as a public school teacher, returns to the amateur ring to provide for his family. Even though years have passed, recriminations and past betrayals keep Brendan bitterly estranged from both Tommy and his father. But when Brendan's unlikely rise as an underdog sets him on a collision course with Tommy, the two brothers must finally confront the forces that tore them apart, all the while waging the most intense, winner-takes-all battle of their lives.
After entering Sparta, Tommy dominates the competition and defeats all his opponents, including Mad Dog in less then 15 seconds. Oppositely, Brendan also defeats two opponents but is beat up badly and his matches were long. Brendan eventually battles Koba, an undefeated Russian fighter. After Koba utterly dominates Brendan for the first two rounds, Brendan realizes that if he does not defeat Koba, he has no home. This thought helps him fight back and he gets Koba into a submission hold and Koba taps out. This makes Tommy and Brendan the finalist in Sparta. It is soon revealed that Tommy saved soldiers inside a tank from drowning, marines show up the the fight in support, as Tommy is a war hero. The two brothers then enter the with Brendan hesitant to fight his little brother.
Much to everyone's surprise, Tommy does not defeat Brendan in the first round. Predictably though, Tommy completely dominates and overwhelms Brendan for the first two rounds. At the end of round 3, Brendan has Tommy in a very painful submission hold. Tommy, not wanting to lose the battle, refuses to tap out but as a consequence, Brendan surprisingly dislocates Tommy's shoulder. Brendan notices this and tries to tell the referee but his coach tells him that he needs to win the match and that Tommy wants to fight and win, but if he is to lose, that he shouldn't lose like this. Brendan and Tommy battle once again but Tommy is fighting awfully and with one hand. Brendan tells Tommy to stop but Tommy ignores him which forces Brendan to damage Tommy even more. Their father returns and watches both his sons battle, ultimately proud of them both. Brendan tells Tommy to give up one last time but Tommy once again refuses. Brendan reluctantly kicks Tommy in the face which helps Brendan get Tommy in another submission hold. Tommy, realizing there is no reason to fight, taps out. Both brothers walk out of the ring together.
Let me rate this movie, I would rate it 5 out of 10.
It was a really great movie, I mean if I were to compared it with Twilight or what not....but the only problem with this movie was, the trailer itself, it practically showed 3 quarter of what is it in the movie. So yeah, it wasn't as exciting while watching it......but well I wouldn't say it's a cinema movie, since the trailer shown much of it

The film opens with a vampire, (Colin Farrell), systematically stalking and killing an entire family in a suburb of Las Vegas, Nevada. The film then focuses on Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin), a teenager who discovers that a new neighbor has moved in next door to him. Charley is an average teen, who has recently been accepted as one of the 'cool' kids after a nerdy adolescence. Upon arriving at school, Charley's former friend, "Evil" Ed Lee (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), informs him that many fellow students have gone missing. Charley disregards this, but Ed blackmails him into coming to an old friend's house, the same house seen at the beginning, to check if he is alright.
When Charley goes home after school, his mother (Toni Collette) introduces him to Jerry, who is their new neighbor. Charley eventually remembers to meet up with Ed, who informs him that Jerry is a vampire. Charley becomes fed up with Ed and leaves. On his way home, Ed is harassed by a bully (Dave Franco). He manages to escape but is confronted by Jerry, who bites him. The next day, Charley realizes that Ed is missing and decides to go to his house to investigate.
As Jerry begins to attack more people throughout the neighborhood, Charley sneaks into Jerry's house and finds out that he keeps his victims in secret rooms. Charley manages to free one of his victims, but she burns the moment she steps into the sunlight during their escape. Charley goes to Vegas magician Peter Vincent (David Tennant), a supposed expert on vampires. Unfortunately, Vincent doesn't take him seriously, and kicks him out, leaving an angry Charley to deal with Jerry on his own.
Jerry comes to Charley's house the next night and complains to his mother, but Charley convinces her not to let him in. Reasoning that if there's no house, he needs no invitation to enter in order to claim his victims, Jerry ignites the natural gas in the house and blows it up. Charley, his mother, and his girlfriend, Amy Peterson (Imogen Poots), barely escape with their lives, fleeing through the desert in their minivan. Jerry chases them with his truck, forcing them to crash. When their disabled car is then hit by another vehicle, Jerry kills the driver (played in cameo by Chris Sarandon). Jerry then attacks Charley, and is only stopped by being staked by Charley's mother (with a real estate sign stake). She then faints from a head injury sustained in the crash.
Charley's mother is then admitted to a hospital. At the hospital, Charley gets a call from Peter telling him to come over. Peter gives Charley advice on how to defeat Jerry, but midway through the conversation Ed (now a vampire) shows up, posing as a package delivery boy. Charley and Ed fight while Vincent hides in his panic room. Jerry, who survived the attack from Charley's mother, also arrives, and Amy manages to fight him off. Charley kills Ed, who briefly reassures Charley before dying that it's okay. With Jerry in pursuit, Charley and Amy then run into a club where they get separated in the crowd. Amy is bitten and taken by Jerry.
The next day Charley tells Peter that he is going after Jerry and he needs his help. Peter refuses and reveals that both of his parents were killed by a vampire (later revealed to be Jerry himself). He does, however, give Charley a stake that will kill Jerry and turn all of his victims back into humans. Charley goes to fight Jerry at his house where Peter decides to join him after all. The two break all of the windows to let sunlight in.
They are led into Jerry's basement where they are attacked by many of Jerry's victims, now vampires, including Amy. Charley, having outfitted himself in a flame-retardant suit, lights himself on fire in order to burn and disorient Jerry while he tries to stake him. Peter assists him by shooting a hole in the floor above to allow sunlight in which burns Jerry. Charley quickly stabs Jerry in the heart, killing him instantly and returning his victims to their human form. Afterwards, Charley's mother recovers from the hospital and goes to shop for a new house.
If you have driven all the way to Kundasang and Mount Kinabalu. It would be a waste and of course quite stupid la hahahaa to missed the BIGGEST FLOWER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! Which is the Rafflesia XD haha
So let me tell you what is Rafflesia first?
Rafflesia is a genus of parasitic flowering plants. It contains approximately 28 species (including four incompletely characterized species as recognized by Willem Meijer in 1997), all found in southeastern Asia, on the Malay Peninsula, Borneo, Sumatra, Thailand and the Philippines.
Rafflesia was found in the Indonesian rain forest by an Indonesian guide working for Dr. Joseph Arnold in 1818, and named after Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, the leader of the expedition. The plant has no stems, leaves or true roots. The flower may be over 100 centimetres (39 in) in diameter, and weigh up to 10 kilograms. The flowers look and smell like rotting flesh, hence its local names which translate to "corpse flower" or "meat flower". The vile smell attracts insects such as flies, which transport pollen from male to female flowers.
What is so special about this Rafflesia? This flower begin blooming at night and begin to decompose only 2–3 days after blooming, this after a 6–9 month budding period. Male and female flowers must be open simultaneously for pollination to occur, hence successful pollination is quite rare and some species may be endangered.
Meaning if you're around Mount Kinabalu, and you saw there is sign on the road saying that there a blooming Rafflesia, please don't hesitate! Just go for it!
As for me, I was traveling to the Hot Spring, and I saw sign board saying that there is a blooming Rafflesia. Without thinking that much, I went for it although need to RM20 for it...oh well....
